Thats right!! Right now Cricut has all their Explore Family of Machines marked down significantly, this means you can pickup the New Explore One for only $179.99 or the Explore Air for $229.99.
So maybe your saying ok what is the differences? So with the Explore Air, it has built in bluetooth capability, it gives it the ability to connect to your bluetooth enabled laptop or your iPhone or iPad, that way you can design in one room and your Cricut can be in another room and you can just send your design to it wirelessly. It also has 2 sides to the carriage where you never have to remove your cutting blade to write or score while the project is cutting.
With the Explore One, it has that name because it only has 1 spot in the carriage, it comes with a blade and housing and that is its general function is to cut your designs. If you wish to have the writing ability or to use a scoring stylus or pen you will need to purchase the adapter for the blade spot to hold these. The Explore One also does not have Bluetooth built in, however you can purchase a bluetooth adapter to give it that function.
So when deciding which one is for you, think about what you are wanting from your Cricut. If you plan on making lots of paper crafts and cards, then you very well might want to go with the Explore Air, as you will make use of that 2nd slot. If you plan on just cutting pieces for quilting, or other projects that literally only need cutting, then save some money and go with the Explore One.
